Programme objectives:

The training aims to equip participants with basic skills and conceptual frameworks to analyse evolving geopolitical trends in the Asia Pacific region to support their respective Parliaments, especially to prepare relevant documents.

Trainees are expected to demonstrate the ability to:

• Analyse evolving geopolitical trends in the Asia Pacific region
• Use the analysis in drafting aide memoires, policy briefings, and talking points on geopolitical issues in the Asia Pacific region
• Contribute to and support the drafting of talking points and analysis of draft resolutions for MPs to provide inputs on inter parliamentary resolutions.
